Stairs to heaven

Chan

Chan was born six weeks prematurely to his HIV-positive mommy, in the spring of 2002. He had contracted the HI-virus from his mommy and was oxygen dependant as a result of chronic lung disease. After spending his first four months in hospital, the doctors decided that their was nothing more they could do for him, and that he should go home. Unfortunately the area where his mommy lived was not an area serviced by the oxygen supply companies.

Since TLC was relatively near to where his mother lived they requested we look after Chan.

Chan was with us for his final thirteen days. During which time his mommy was able to spend a lot of time with him.
