Helen-Ashleigh
Helen-Ashleigh was born prematurely in the Johannesburg Hospital in the middle of the summer of 2002. She was born before her lungs had fully developed and suffered from chronic lung disease. When she was ready to be discharged from the hospital her mother could not be traced. The hospital social workers requested that she come to TLC.
In the early autumn, after 2 months at TLC she was re-admitted to the hospital where she later passed away due to complications related to her under-developed lungs. She was 3 months old.
