Meet Sihle

Sihle

Sihle was born in the winter of 2006. He was born prematurely, and was a very ill little boy. He had under-developed lungs and so was dependant on supplemental oxygen, he had a cleft palate and a heart defect. Having done all they could for him the hospital wished to discharge him to his mother's care, however she was not equipped to deal with her little boy's special needs. The hospital requested that we help to look after him. Sihle was eleven weeks old when he came to TLC.

Sihle struggled valiantly for the six weeks he spent with us. But one day in the springtime of 2006 he gave up the fight, in favour of his peaceful haven with our Lord.
