Although our full time volunteer staff form the core of our team of caregivers, a considerable amount of our energy goes into the development and training of these young people.
We realise that for many of our volunteers their stay at TLC is the first time they have been away from home for any length of time, they are suddenly dealing with adult responsibilities, in a foreign country and a different culture.
We stand behind our young helpers as they acquire a variety of new skills and face many new experiences. Some people need more support than others. All of our volunteers leave TLC different people... experienced in child care, and able to capably deal with many new adult responsibilities.
